TODD MARKEWICZ

BIOGRAPHY

Todd  is a distinctive singer whose vocal style captivates with deep emotion, drawing influence from legends like Vince Gill, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Chris Isaak.

His latest album, Desperado, features a mix of original songs and select covers. The album boasts an impressive lineup of musicians, including the late, great Danny Gatton, renowned as an American virtuoso who seamlessly blended blues, rockabilly, jazz, and country. Danny’s masterful lead guitar graces many of Todd’s recordings.

Also contributing is the extraordinarily talented Anthony Krizan—a gifted musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist—who played guitar, drums, and percussion while also recording and producing the album at Sonic Boom Studios in Raritan, New Jersey.

One standout track, Lonely Lady, is a heartfelt country ballad infused with the rich Latin guitar stylings of Marty Robbins and the signature strumming patterns of Johnny Cash.

With a lifetime of experience on stage, Todd has shared the stage with iconic artists such as Carl Perkins, Dave Edmunds, Marshall Crenshaw, Robert Gordon, Narvel Felts, Charlie Feathers, The Beach Boys, and The Belmonts. He’s just as comfortable performing in a small-town tavern as he is at prestigious venues like The Lone Star Café or The Beacon Theatre in New York City.

In 2023, Todd delivered a stirring acapella rendition of the National Anthem to a crowd of 3,000 at Virginia Tech University’s Cassell Coliseum, earning a roaring ovation.

Regularly performing from New Jersey to Atlanta, Todd’s high-energy shows draw audiences in, making them feel like part of the experience.

Beyond the stage, Todd is also a country music DJ on WDVR 89.7 FM in Sergeantsville, NJ, hosting a show every Thursday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
